Prayer & Praises: December 19th - 25th

Monday, December 19:

Pray for administrators and teachers during this last week of school.  Pray for patience and for students to stay on task this week. 

Tuesday, December 20:

Behold, a virgin shall become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will call him, Emmanuel. Isaiah 7:14

Pray for all our Church staff during this busy time of the year.  May God renew their strength daily.

Wednesday, December 21:

Pray for our public safety officers during what can be a dangerous time of the year.  Pray for God’s provision for them and for their safety as they seek to protect us.

Thursday, December 22:

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us . . . And He will be called:  Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  Isaiah 9:9

Join us as we deliver Operation Santa gifts today (8 am) pray for those making deliveries and for the families who will receive the gifts.  Pray that the children who receive these gifts feel God’s love and come to know Him!

Friday, December 23:

Pray for our school children as they go home today on Christmas break.  Remember especially those who will go home to places with no food during this holiday season.  Ask God to keep our children safe and protected as they are out of school for two weeks.

Saturday, December 24:

I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.  The Savior –yes, the Messiah, the Lord –has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!  Luke 2:10-11

Christmas Eve

Join us for our Christmas Eve Service tonight at 7:30 p.m.  Invite your neighbors to come and share this special time together as we retell the Christmas story and sing carols.  Thank God for His wonderful gift of love, His Son, Jesus.

Sunday, December 25:

The Word became flesh and made His home among us.  We have seen His glory, glory like that of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth.  John 1:14

Christmas Day

Give thanks to God for family and friends who have gathered to celebrate the gift of Jesus.  Join us for worship at 10:00 a.m. and give thanks with the family of God for this indescribable gift of love!
